SEO audit of a B2B SaaS - JS not rendered
B2B SaaS with client-side React whose content Google couldn't see. The audit identified the JS rendering issue; the recommendation was an SSR migration. Result: indexation jumped 12% → 94%, signups went up 9×.
- Niche
- B2B SaaS
- Platform
- React → Next.js (SSR)
- Timeframe
- 7-day audit + 90-day migration

Challenge
B2B SaaS startup with real product and strong PMF, but organic traffic was under 800 sessions/mo. They couldn't figure out why. Before spending on an agency, they wanted an external audit to confirm SEO was the actual channel and what to fix first.
What I did
7-day fixed-scope audit. The first thing I checked was whether Google could see their content - and it couldn't. The whole React app rendered client-side, meaning empty HTML for the crawler. The audit document explained the issue, why it was blocker #1, and recommended a concrete plan: SSR migration of the marketing pages, sitemap rebuild, schema markup. 60-min video review with the CTO + founder. 30-min day-30 follow-up.
- Rendering test with Chrome DevTools + GSC URL Inspect: 88% of content invisible to Googlebot
- Crawl analysis showed catalog, blog, pricing, docs - all client-side React, no SSR
- Recommendation: migrate the marketing site to Next.js with SSR (keep app/dashboard on the old stack)
- Sitemap audit: 3 conflicting sitemaps, recommended consolidation
- Schema brief for SoftwareApplication + Product + Organization markup
- Content brief for the top 30 commercial keywords in their niche
- 30-min CTO follow-up on day 30 - part of the plan executed, progress validated
Results
The engineering team accepted the plan. Migration to Next.js for the marketing site shipped in 8 weeks. Indexation jumped from 12% to 94% within 6 weeks of the migration. First signup from Google on day 28. By day 90 - 73 organic signups / month vs. 8 before. Top-10 keywords: 4 → 138.

Let's talk
First, let's see if we're a good fit.
A 30-minute call, just me and you. You tell me about your store, your goals, and where you feel stuck. I tell you how I'd approach it. No slides, no pitch. If it feels right on both sides, the next step is a real SEO audit and a plan built around your store.
- You share, I show you the pathYou tell me about the business - catalogue, goals, numbers, what you've already tried. Inside the call I tell you how I'd scale you: which channels work for your case, which don't, and the order I'd run them in.
- If it's a fit, I audit your storeIf we both feel good after the call, the next step is a real audit of your store and a plan for the next 90 days. If not, no hard feelings.
- You always talk to meI work solo - no account managers in between, no junior handovers. Six years on Shopify, WooCommerce and custom ecommerce builds, and the person on the call is the person doing the work afterwards.
