Ecommerce SEO

Ecommerce SEO for stores with ambition to grow.

SEO for an online store isn't SEO for a blog. Category and product pages are the money, that's where my focus is too.

Why ecommerce SEO is different

Five things most people miss.

  • Product and category pages bring the orders, not the blog
  • Filters and faceted navigation kill SEO if not controlled
  • Product schema and rich results in Google
  • Internal linking between categories and products
  • Duplicate content from product variants

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with my platform?

Yes, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce and custom stores. The playbook differs for each.

I have thousands of products. Is that a problem?

No. With large catalogs we work at the template and category level, not product by product.

What if my site isn't an online store?

I tailor offers for SaaS, lead-gen, local services and content sites when SEO is genuinely the right channel, same process, same transparency, just different KPIs (leads, demo bookings, sign-ups, qualified reads). For digital agencies that need senior SEO bandwidth, I also white-label.

What do reports actually look like?

Three things working together. (1) A monthly Looker Studio dashboard with organic orders and revenue (Shopify / GA4), Google traffic, top pages and a plain-language list of what shipped that month. (2) A monthly Google Search Console report, real positions, impressions, CTR, new ranking keywords and pages picking up speed. (3) Live notifications on any meaningful ranking movement: a new keyword breaking into the top 10, a traffic spike, a drop on an important page, you hear it first. Wins are packaged so you can share them in internal updates or with the board.

What access do you need during the project?

Three things only: admin access to your shop (Shopify / WooCommerce / Magento), Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4. That's it. The premium SEO tooling is on me, I run active subscriptions for Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Surfer, Looker Studio Pro and more, so you never pay for tools separately. Nothing on the site gets touched without written approval; every change goes through staging or has a tested backup.

What if we're not a good fit for each other?

It's not the end of the conversation, just the end of this engagement. We stay in touch, and I'll point you at specific people or channels that will serve you better right now, another SEO specialist, a PPC partner, an agency, a different positioning. Worst case, you walk away with a few concrete recommendations you can use immediately and a door open for a future round when the timing is better.

Let's talk

First, let's see if we're a good fit.

A 30-minute call, just me and you. You tell me about your store, your goals, and where you feel stuck. I tell you how I'd approach it. No slides, no pitch. If it feels right on both sides, the next step is a real SEO audit and a plan built around your store.

  • You share, I show you the pathYou tell me about the business - catalogue, goals, numbers, what you've already tried. Inside the call I tell you how I'd scale you: which channels work for your case, which don't, and the order I'd run them in.
  • If it's a fit, I audit your storeIf we both feel good after the call, the next step is a real audit of your store and a plan for the next 90 days. If not, no hard feelings.
  • You always talk to meI work solo - no account managers in between, no junior handovers. Six years on Shopify, WooCommerce and custom ecommerce builds, and the person on the call is the person doing the work afterwards.
